How to configure secondary DNS

The following steps are a basic outline for configuring your zone(s) for DNS Unlimited's secondary DNS service:

Set your primary name server(s) to allow zone transfers to our name servers:
ns1.dnsunlimited.com - 206.212.247.94 ns2.dnsunlimited.com - 64.120.176.243 ns3.dnsunlimited.com - 69.164.207.210 ns4.dnsunlimited.com - 74.117.58.251 ns5.dnsunlimited.com - 178.79.148.169
- Add your zone(s) to DNS Unlimited using the control panel at https://www.dnsunlimited.com/
- Verify that your zones are transferring properly using the DNS Log tab on the control panel.
- Add NS records to your zone(s) for each of our name servers. For BIND, use the following format:
example.com. IN NS ns1.dnsunlimited.com. example.com. IN NS ns2.dnsunlimited.com. example.com. IN NS ns3.dnsunlimited.com. example.com. IN NS ns4.dnsunlimited.com. example.com. IN NS ns5.dnsunlimited.com.
- Add our name servers to your zone(s) at your registrar.
